Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about how we work, what is included, and how to get started.

What do people ask before booking?

Below are the questions we hear most from homeowners, Airbnb hosts, and property managers in Sonoma County. If yours is not here, call +1 (707) 694-8236 and a coordinator will answer it directly.

What is the difference between a regular cleaning and a vacation rental cleaning?

A vacation rental turnover prepares a property for new guests: all beds and towels laundered, supplies like shampoo, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags restocked, kitchen including refrigerator and dishwasher emptied and cleaned, bedrooms and bathrooms made presentable, and the patio and BBQ cleaned, finished with an inspection. A regular residential cleaning is a personalized routine for an occupied home focused on bathrooms, kitchen, floors, and living areas on the schedule you choose.

How do I start a cleaning service with Dina's Ascendias?

Three steps. First, an initial cleaning: a detailed, in-depth visit that lets us learn your home and its needs. Second, choose your frequency: weekly, every two weeks, every three weeks, or every four weeks. Third, enjoy a home that stays healthy and harmonious with regular maintenance visits and a coordinator who checks in to adjust anything.

What does the initial cleaning include?

A detailed, deep clean of every area of the home, with special attention to spots that need extra care and additional time so the house is clean and organized to your standard before recurring service begins.

Why is a regular cleaning schedule important?

Consistency keeps a home healthy. Bathrooms are used daily, kitchens collect grease, and dust settles in hard to reach places. Regular service prevents buildup, reduces allergens, keeps the house organized, and keeps every visit efficient, so the home never slides back into needing a deep clean.

What is included in regular residential cleaning?

Bathroom cleaning and disinfection; floors and baseboards; kitchen including stove, microwave, surfaces, cabinet fronts, and the kitchen window; trash and cobweb removal; wiping and dusting of closets, tables, and sofas; vacuuming and tidying common areas; light switches, door handles, and doors.

Can I add dishes, laundry, bed making, or oven cleaning?

Yes. These are available as add-ons with a personalized quote: washing and putting away dishes, collecting dishes and glasses from rooms, cleaning inside the oven and refrigerator, laundry, making beds, exterior windows, organizing heavy clutter, and wall cleaning. Keeping them as add-ons lets regular visits stay focused on the areas that need cleaning most.

What does a deep cleaning include?

Cobweb and deep dust removal on fans, fixtures, and surfaces; windows inside and out including blinds; floors and baseboards including behind furniture; bathrooms with cabinets inside and out; kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator inside and out, cabinets inside and out, and range hood degreasing; doors, walls, sliding doors, and window sills; behind and under appliances; laundry room including washer and dryer exteriors; and the garage.

When should I schedule a deep cleaning?

Early spring is ideal after a long, cold winter leaves mold and mildew on walls and windows. Deep cleans are also right for moves, after parties or events, and periodically to keep a home healthy.

What are standard, premium, and luxury cleaning levels?

Standard cleaning covers properties that need a reliable, thorough service. Premium adds a higher level of detail for larger or more demanding homes. Luxury is an extremely detailed, personalized service for high-end properties that require perfection. We help you choose the level based on location, size, and the detail required.
